Kaltra improves delivery time for heat exchangers
With expansion of production facilities which included installation of two new CAB furnaces with large indexing grids and intended for high-volume production runs completed in Q2 2023, Kaltra reduced manufacturing time for microchannel heat exchangers by 30%.
Brazing quality is also positively affected by furnaces’ precise temperature control and advanced vacuum purge systems for nitrogen atmosphere control.
With the installation of new CAB furnaces, production capacity has been expanded by 25% for medium- and large-size heat exchangers.
Kaltra spent a double-digit million Euro investment, starting the facility expansion in autumn 2022 and continuing its funding in modern production updates to enhance the business further.
