Kaltra introduces the new generation of its Delta CRAC units

The new generation of precision air conditioners includes Delta DX II lineup equipped with fixed-speed scroll compressors and Delta DXi II with inverter-driven compressors. The range with fixed-speed scrolls consists of 28 models from 35 to 135kW in downflow or upflow configurations. Inverter-driven units are available in a capacity range of 30-140kW.

Delta DX II and Delta DXi II are offered in three frame sizes, with widths of 1150, 1600, and 2500mm and depth of 875mm.

The range can be linked either with remote air-cooled condensers (Delta DXC II and DXCi II lineup) or with builtin water-cooled condensers to be coupled with an external fluid cooler (Delta DXW II and DXWi II lineup). Indirect free cooling is available for all models equipped with water-cooled condensers.

Innovations include the use of microchannel evaporators for models up to 75kW to boost heat transfer rates and energy efficiency and the deployment of updated control software that significantly optimizes energy use at partial cooling loads. Units equipped with MCHE evaporators feature low refrigerant charge, a drop of more than 40 percent compared to previous generation air conditioners Delta DX.

Available accessories include a dual power supply system, fast restart, energy metering device, fire/smoke detectors, variations of air intake and air discharge plenums, air dampers, supporting frames, an enlarged refrigerant receiver, a low ambient temperature kit, connectivity options, including Modbus, unit control via Wi-Fi, and more.

For the USA market, as well as for other regions with 60Hz power grid frequency, Kaltra offers 60Hz versions of Delta DXi II, downflow or upflow, a total of 20 models with capacities ranging from 30 to 140kW.
