Kaltra to open a subsidiary in the USA
To expand its presence and the scope of its business in the USA, Kaltra announced opening a hub office in Tacoma, WA, which would primarily be focused on sales and service of heat exchange products.
The portfolio of products will include microchannel heat exchangers for condenser, evaporator and single-phase flow applications, and replacement coils. Stock items will include microchannel condensers of the most demanded sizes and replacement condensers for York/JCI, Trane, and Carrier chillers with a shipping time of 1 to 3 days within the US.
The USA office is to accommodate the rapidly growing regional demand for Kaltra heat exchangers observed in recent times. “The decision to expand our presence into the West Coast USA area was a logical step in our business growth strategy. HVAC businesses and contractors in the US are looking for top-quality heat transfer products, but fast shipping is a must. This US office will enable us to tackle shipping times drastically, strengthening our presence and sales in the region,” said Paul Larson, head of business development at Kaltra. “West Coast is also a highly corrosive area, and our heat exchange products, well-known as robust and perfectly resistant to all types of corrosion, are very much to the point in the region,” he added.
