LOW-GWP REFRIGERANT FOR NEW AND RETROFIT SYSTEMS
R450a is a zeotropic blend of refrigerants R134a and R1234ze designed to serve as an alternative to R134a and offering similar performance and a reduction in global warming potential of almost 60%. R450a is compatible with most common materials, can be charged from either liquid or vapor phase, and features lower discharge temperatures compared to refrigerant R134a.
Refrigerant R450a is a close substitute in a wide range of new and retrofit applications including refrigerated transport, water coolers, cold storages, industrial process refrigeration, reciprocating, centrifugal, screw and scroll chillers, and industrial air conditioning systems.
