More Lightstream Screw II deals underway

Kaltra’s most innovatively engineered and efficient air-cooled chiller range, Lightstream Screw II, remains to date one of the top-selling products, as reflected by recent massive supplies.

First introduced in 2021, Lightstream Screw II pioneered twin-core microchannel condensers, hybrid evaporators designed in-house, refined screw compressors, control software with inbuilt sequencing, and a great many other innovations focused on energy efficiency.

One of the new examples of Lihgtstream Screw II’s success is high worth order for air-conditioning of a luxury hotel in Mauritius. Of high importance for the customer were the reliability, lifespan of the chillers in uneasy marine climate conditions, and maintenance capabilities offered by Kaltra’s regional partner, MTCA, which are keystone aspects of the project for the remotely located Mauritius island.

Energy-saving opportunities are another important factor, and the Lighstream series is a recognized leader in its class—regardless of operating conditions, be they harsh cold or extremely warm: its operating envelope is wide enough for any installation.

In light of the worldwide phase-down of high GWP refrigerants, Kaltra offers models running on R1234ze and R513a fluids for the lineup while reducing filling amounts for Lightstream Screw II.
