Kaltra extends the capacity of its flagship free cooling chiller range
Kaltra has extended the capacity range of its Lightstream Freecool inverter chiller to 1800kW of refrigeration. Lightstream Freecool chiller lineup was introduced in 2017, initially with a capacity range of 450 to 1200kW.
Lightstream Freecool uses inverter-driven screw compressor technology along with microchannel condenser and free cooling coils and demonstrates industry-leading energy efficiency. In addition to refrigerant R134a, the units are available with low-GWP refrigerants R1234ze and R513a.
The chillers excel through the integrated, high-capacity free cooling system which ensures substantial energy savings, making the range an ideal for mild and cold climates.
