Kaltra adds air-cooled version to its Easystream II chiller range

Kaltra, a leading manufacturer of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment, has announced the commercial launch of scroll chillers that expands an existing lineup of condenserless and water-cooled models with air-cooled version.

The company’s new air-cooled model uses last-generation scroll compressors and suitable for commercial air conditioning and process cooling applications.

Easystream II chiller is an economy solution but incorporates a set of high-end technologies such as low-charge microchannel condensers, EC fans with Modbus controls, and electronic expansion valves, and options: desuperheaters, BMS connectivity, ability to produce low-temperature brine solutions, and more. In addition to compact physical footprint and low weight, the customers benefit from its low sound output and resilience due to dual independent refrigeration circuit. The chillers may also be packaged with circulation pumps and water tanks.

Easystream II’s plug-and-operate principle enables users to easily start up and run the unit and control it either locally or remotely. A durable touchscreen displays operational screens for an uncomplicated view of the system, including time-stamped alarms and statistics.

The very first installation of Easystream II air-cooled chillers has been completed at Somerset Court building in Singapore. Kaltra’s Easystream II was selected by building owner as a solution which is able to withstand severe environmental conditions as year-round high ambient temperatures and humidity, and marine atmosphere. Supplied chillers are equipped with e-coated condenser coils, gas separators, and variable-speed pumps.
